Meet the Designer, Shannon Lescarini
My passion for cake came to light at a young age. I started taking courses and would later go to culinary school and earn my degree in bakery/pastry. Since then I have taken courses with highly specialized chefs who have left a great impression on me and have concentrated my constant desire to excel. I hope you can find everything you need. I am focused on providing a high-quality service and customer satisfaction. My cakes & cookies are baked from scratch and detailed to your specifications. I take a very limited number of wedding cake orders per weekend to ensure that you have my undivided attention and commitment to excellence. I will do everything I can to meet your expectations. "Shannon (and Whisk) did an amazing job with our wedding cake. My husband and I met with her and explained our unusual requests - all we had was a few pictures of something close to what we wanted. Shannon not only accommodated our schedules to meet (we were in from out of town), she brought delicious samples for both of us and my mom, and she was so happy to discuss our ideas with us. The reason we chose Shannon was partly for her delicious cakes and fillings, but even more so because she was so enthusiastic and willing to take on the challenge. And she completely rose to the challenge! Our cake was absolutely delicious and was a beautiful addition to our wedding! She was so easy and pleasant to work with that my Aunt also worked with her to create an INCREDIBLE sculpted sugar cake for my bridesmaids' luncheon - it had one layer of beautiful ombre ruffles, another layer of tiny sugar flowers, and a tea cup - make entirely of sugar and hand painted - for the topper. Not only was it beautiful, it was also fantastic.
Shannon's enthusiasm and professionalism made choosing to work with her an easy decision. Her ability to make fabulous, fresh cakes and fruit fillings made our wedding a delicious occasion!"
